Grants & Women is a free, independent educational reference about the funding genuinely available to women in the United States — government and foundation grants, scholarships, housing and basic-needs assistance, research fellowships, and small-business loans.

This site was rebuilt from an older grantsandwomen.com that, like much of the 'free government grant money' web, leaned on misleading hype — big dollar promises, 'never repay' language, and a funnel toward paid 'grant' services. We removed all of that. What remains is the genuinely useful guidance, rewritten honestly and anchored to official sources. Every program links to the agency or foundation that actually runs it, and we are explicit that grants are competitive, eligibility-bound, and never guaranteed.
